Yang Ming Marine Transport Launches New CSM Route, Strengthening Its Intra-Asia Service Network
2026-03-27
Recently, Yang Ming Marine Transport announced the launch of a new Asia-bound service—the China–Singapore–Malaysia route (the “CSM Route”)—which is scheduled to commence operations on April 3, 2026. This move aims to further strengthen Yang Ming’s service network across Asia, deepen its regional footprint, and enhance customer service efficiency.
The CSM service will be jointly operated by three 2,800 TEU-class vessels under Yang Ming Marine Transport, offering a weekly scheduled service with a round-trip transit time of 21 days. This ensures schedule reliability and dependable space availability, fully meeting the region’s high-frequency, fast-paced logistics demands.
Precisely connecting South China with key hubs in Southeast Asia
The port sequence for the CSM service is: Xiamen – Kaohsiung – Shekou – Singapore – Port Klang – Xiamen. This route precisely connects southern China, Taiwan, and key ports in Southeast Asia, creating an efficient closed-loop network.
Through this strategic deployment, Yang Ming Marine Transport has not only significantly strengthened its direct shipping services between Southern China and Singapore and Malaysia, but also leveraged its flexible and comprehensive intra-Asian network to help customers meet increasingly diversified market demands and enhance supply-chain resilience.
Continuously optimize the service network to empower regional trade.
As a key player in the Asia regional shipping market, Yang Ming Marine Transport has consistently committed to the continuous optimization of its service network. The launch of the CSM service further enhances the company’s route coverage in Southeast Asia and Southern China, enabling it to offer customers more diversified, reliable, sustainable, and high-quality shipping solutions.
Looking ahead, Yang Ming Marine Transport will continue to leverage its flexible capacity deployment and robust network infrastructure to deepen its presence in the Asian market, thereby providing more stable and efficient logistics support for regional trade and economic exchanges.
